AJ Tracey features in the UK Remix of Denzel Curry's "Knotty Head"

Shot on location outside West London's Trellick Tower - a cult, government-listed building and a standout example of 1970's brutalist, inner-city architecture - Knotty Head features Denzel and AJ exchanging verses in a basketball court, interspersed by footage of Denzel's recent headline UK show at London's Jazz Cafe, with the tower looming over them in the background.

American and UK collaborations are not new in the world of Hip Hop. We can go way back to the Skepta x Diddy linkup or to more recent times with Dave's remix of "Wanna Know" featuring Drake. This week Denzel Curry dropped the "Knotty Head UK Remix" featuring Grimes rising star AJ Tracey.

Earlier this month, Denzel Curry revealed the special guest feature at his headline show in London's Jazz Cafe. AJ Tracey took over the stage to the surprise of the audience and gave a high energy performance. On the track, AJ rides the beat comfortably with his skippy flow keeping up with Denzel's signature fast-paced rhymes. The remix has now come to life with a gritty visual based outside West London’s Trellick Tower interlaced with footage from the Live show. Check the video above.
