Arigato

Rejjie Snow is back on the radar following his summer-stunner ‘Baw Baw Black Sheep’ gracing us with double-sided number ‘Arigato’.

Ensuing the stars highly-anticipated album release ‘Baw Baw Black Sheep’, Rejjie drops off some vibes in the musicians latest track ‘Arigato’, showcasing the talent’s whimsical approach to life that’s wrapped up in the rapper’s mystical way around the mic.

‘Arigato’ presents Rejjie diving deeper and deeper into that fun-loving narration behind the one of a kind pen-smith’s artistry; seeing the rapper weave between line after line of that captivating lyricism, that only cultivates a fluid stream of woozy poetry in conjunction with those out-there adlibs (“but look!/freeze!”), only setting him aside from the rest of the game.

Atop of the sampled boom-bap type beat courtesy of Dino and Matter Research, Rejjie takes the show, as the infinite loop of the choppy soundscapes allow us to be easily engrossed within a head-swaying trance, all while Rejjie goes off with that hypnotic cadence alongside his renowned lax vocal range - in doing so, completely seizing our consciousness.

Wrapping this one up Rejjie turns to Reuben Bastienne-Lewis and their team to manifest the vibes of ‘Arigato’; showcasing Rejjie in his usual fashion, cultivating a wild, yet wonderful, visual display as the talent is seen draped in an all tan fit, alongside a beige fedora and one-of-one feathered mask as he sits by a collection of snowballs? - bringing that undeniable element of mysticism Rejjie exudes as a being.

Come the second half, and following the cut scenes of Snow dressed as Superman chopping it up by the Thames, Reuben slows the pace down. Placing the rapper within a meditative environment, as Rejjie comes to see a shaman-like figure whipping up a herbal brew for the talent to sip on as he sits back sipping away and reciting the delicate lyricism as incense burn away.

Make sure to take in Rejjie’s new number, it seems like the man is really in his bag after the last album and shows no signs of slowing down!
