Behind the mask K-TRAP is always 'Watching’

At only 22, South London rapper K-Trap has made tremendous waves in the UK rap scene. I personally had the opportunity to see him at the O2 Islington for his electrifying headline show. He was able to showcase his catalogue to a willing crowd who revelled at the chance to rap alongside K-Trap and friends. The heavy Drill beats from frequent collaborator Slay Productions marry well with K-Trap's hard hitting punch lines and noteworthy adlibs.

Following on from his first solo release David Blaine, the momentum from this South London rapper has not slowed down. His foothold in the scene was cemented with his debut project The Last Whip which came in at 6 on the iTunes chart, a feat which has not gone unnoticed among his peers. He managed to garner recognition for his project from top tastemakers in the industry such as FACT, Nation of Billions and Trench alongside Charlie SlothSian AndersonKenny Allstar, Mistajam and Toddla T. Notable instant classics from the project include Last Whip and, my personal favourite, Paper Plans. The hard-hitting mixtape was then proceeded with dope singles such as Wild Thoughts and the smash hit Diamonds with Yxng Bane.
