Production collective CoolAssPPL return on the entertaining and serene ‘Chill N.’. CoolAssPPL are a wide reaching American group, who use their different backgrounds to create an eclectic and unique sound and style. On this cut, which is accompanied by a video, one member of the group, A.Heard comes to the forefront to create this refreshing and accessible track. 

The production is of a high standard, and the beat has some refined, compelling elements to it. The main sample used throughout much of the track has connotations of hope and joy and sets a buccaneering tone. The bass line is adventurous and effective, adding some further interest to the sunny instrumental. The rapping is skilled and cultured, with a good variety of flows and wordplay, and the delivery is striking and energetic. 

With a strong chorus, a bucket load of personality and focused textured production, this is a very solid track from some exciting musicians.
