South London-born R&B singer-songwriter BINA. has been working hard to cement and refine her sound as she puts out mellow track ‘Dark Cloud’.

 The combination of her soulful melodies with her distinct voice creates a sound that is unique and enticing, to give her own take on jazz and R&B. Despite using a busier beat compared to her previously released tracks, it does not overshadow her vocals or lyrics and brings the listener’s full attention to the sound of her mesmerising voice. BINA. commented to The Fader that ‘Dark Cloud’ is about “self-acceptance; "Spending a lot of time alone, I got to realize that I’m kinda fucked up — we all are. And then it made me think about how much I appreciate the people who embrace that side of me.”

Taking influence from the likes of IAMDDB and Erykah Badu, the cumulation of genres has created a sound that leaves the listener hooked on the sheer effortless of BINA.’s voice.
