Exclusive Premiere: Nikhil Beats - Faith ft. Ayeisha Raquel

East London up-and-coming artist/producer Nikhil Beats has been carving out his authentic sound by seamlessly merging R&B, hip-hop and jazz with cultural influences from his Asian heritage. His impressive production work in singer-songwriter Safiyyah’s ‘Third Eye’ EP and West London’s finest Finn Foxell’s ‘Talk is Cheap’ EP earned a spot on Jamz Supanova (BBC Radio 1Xtra) Top 5 EP’s list.

‘3000 Realms’ is a concept from Nichiren Buddhism dear to Nikhil and his family. It explains the infinite amount of ways a single moment in one’s life could turn out and therefore alludes to the mass power we all have to shape our own lives and the environment around us. Nikhil mirrors this belief in his EP with collaborative tracks explaining diverse perspectives on life and the infinite possibilities it can offer. He specifically advocates 3000 Realms as the prime encompassment of music’s creation.

Nikhil and fellow East London songstress, Ayeisha Raquel, join forces to narrate the pursuit of love in the single ‘Faith’ - the 2nd release from Nikhil’s ‘3000 Realms’ EP.

Ayeisha Raquel, born and raised in East London, is a British alternative R&B singer-songwriter of Filipino-Ugandan heritage. In her music, she incorporates details about her personal growth, mental health and relationships through self-reflection, and occasionally, witty honesty. With 14 years of music performance experience, Ayeisha has made her way onto many stages; having opened the stage for Qhairo at The Courtyard Theatre, and for Che Lingo at The Jazz Cafe in 2019. She has worked with the likes of producers such as Darkness, Intalekt, R-Kay, and provided backing vocals for the ‘Ambrosia’ EP by email, with appearances by A2 and Knucks.
