Jay Alexzander celebrates his mother tongue in "F.W.U"

Soulful singer Jay Alexzander unveils his brand new music video for his latest single F.W.U. Directed by Nicholas Taghavi, the video draws upon celebrating the beauty of African women, as well as celebrating Jay’s Ugandan roots.

Featuring his little brother and rapper, LK, F.W.U is a beautiful fusion of R'n'B and Soul with some sneaking elements of Trap. Within the single, Alexzander has blended his native language of ‘Acholi’, from the region of Northern Uganda, with English giving it that personal touch.

The vision I had for the song has finally become a reality. Not many people would have known that I was bi-lingual, but with this single and visual, I’ve been able to show that and celebrate my heritage
— Jay Alexzander

Evidently, the distinguished F.W.U marks a profound prelude to his fantastic EP due for release later in 2018.
