Latin Grammys

Action Bronson returns with his first single of 2020, ‘Latin Grammys’. With the track set to appear on the upcoming project ‘Only For Dolphins’, the Queens rapper has slowly begun rebuilding his momentum as we look out for his new album.

‘Latin Grammys’ features an upbeat vibe, with Latin-jazz influences that give the song a throwback feel, something that is familiar in many of Action’s catalogue. With witty lyrics and humorous bars, Action Bronson says the song “is about coming of age” and “metamorphosing”. The accompanying visuals, directed by VIDEO CONNECTION, sees Bronson’s face being digitally added to the body of Magnus Ver Magnusson as he wins the 1995 World’s Strongest Man competition. This can be seen as art imitating life, as earlier on this week Bronson shared his weight loss journey on Hot97 with Ebro. This song and its visuals offer a light hearted laugh from its ridiculousness and a good way to welcome Action Bronson back into the scene.
