On A Beach (Champion & Double S Remix)

Champion has flipped Etta Bond’s seaside slow jam ‘On a Beach’ into a garage hit with Double S. The original, which landed on the London singer’s lockdown EP 2 METERS APART, has both its tempo and temperature turned up.

Filmed at Southbourne beach in Dorset, the brand new visuals show Etta Bond bringing summertime energy to a windy coastline. Tottenham’s Double S, (who replaces Avelino in this remix), seems to have broken down in the backwoods, with all his beach gear packed into a Porsche.

People say the word ‘catchy’ is thrown around too much. But here, with the work of a garage luminary and some sugar-sweet vocals, there’s no way you’re not catching this one.

‘On a Beach’ has already been Radio 1’s Tune of the Week, and with a fresh album dropping soon, the forecast certainly looks sunny for Etta Bond.
