Singer and producer Ted Jasper drops his latest project 'Solstice' a 4 track EP following the release of singles 'Stella' and 'Higher Plain'. Based between London and Cornwall, Ted draws influence from Hip-Hop, Electronica, Jazz and House; his carefully crafted music spans a variety of styles with his regular sound palette of up-beat, organic percussion, bouncy melodies and intimate vocals wrapped in warm chords.

Having released on well respected DJ and broadcaster Jamz Supernova's Future Bounce label, Ted Jasper has also found champions in Gilles Peterson, Huw Stephens, Pete Tong and Laurent Garnier as well as consistently broad support across Spotify and Apple's electronic playlists.

Each track on the project is infused with gentle grooves, each intricate element assembled with ease, radiating a hazy warmth that feels like late afternoon sun. Previously unreleased track Solstice, blends Jasper's soft vocals with a soothing wash of pads, guitars and steel pans, while Dream Girl's paired down instrumentation puts multiple layers of intimate vocals from Jasper front and centre.

The EP is packaged in neat fashion, and with an overall running time of just 10 minutes, it is the perfect length for us to get a taste of Jasper's work. Both Higher Plain and Stella were released during the run up to this project being released, doing a successful job in ramping up the momentum. Each song possesses an impressive melodic progression which singles out his sound within the industry allowing him to explore his own genre.

With this EP Jasper shows why he's truly one of the best singer/ producers around, deftly crafting a defined sound while exhibiting vocal, instrumental and production skills of the highest quality.
