The year is 2020: it’s not how you planned it. It ain’t how anyone planned it.

Shootin’ the shit with your pals has been reduced to quizzes on a video chat we didn’t know existed in January; and the only industries still moving are pizza delivery, and Spotify. Oh, and weed. ‘Cause weed guys always find a way, even in a pandemic.

You escape the Instagram faux-cialising for a second, bill a zoot, press Play on your Release Radar and lay back.

Hi, y’all. Welcome to the night

Up-steps a cloudy, mellow beat that invites you to lose your trail of thought. The sound; ‘Them Feels’. Cat Dad teams up with Didier Brown to create a trans-Atlantic dyad that has you swaying in this bedroom haze. Meandering through lines of lethargy and sanguinity, the guys vibe on with their wavy melody and Didier’s lucid lyricism. This could be a soundtrack to many a quarantine.

A worthy follow-up to Cat Dad’s 2019 self-named album, ‘Them Feels’ adds to the impressive line of singles out for The DiD, too. This pairing is seamless and the output: a vibe. Just don’t kill their high. More music is planned for the duo soon.
