BusyFingers is a multi-genre DJ and Founder of The L.A.B Collective, originating from South West London. The triple threat has a talent for all things musical including dance, Djing and production. Known for his eclectic depth of genres, BusyFingers has been rocking parties for over 10 years, priding himself on his energetic freestyle sets and experimental selections. He has naturally transitioned from playing old skool Hip-Hop, R'n'B and Funk for the B-Boys to delving deeper into other sounds such as Groove, UK Bass, Future Beats, Jersey Club, Jungle, Dancehall and then discovering the LA Beat Scene in 2009.
BusyFingers' 5 to12 hour marathon sessions, live radio show features and club nights have cemented him as a seasoned figure in the London Beat scene. As an intuitive creative, BusyFingers has mastered engaging crowds with dance floor classics mixed with underground productions and edits, being a firm supporter of introducing the work of lesser-known producers to virgin ears.
His CV includes opening shows for numerous international Hip-Hop artists and underground legends such as Oddisee, Jean Grae, Large Professor, Chuck Inglish, Apollo Brown & Ugly Heroes, Dom Kennedy and Parisian Hip-Hop group 1995. Possessing a wealth of knowledge combined with spontaneity means to hear BusyFingers is a gift of an experience, causing him to be in demand at events such as Brainchild Festival as well as killing three stages at Outlook Festival 2017.
Busy is also the Founder of The L.A.B Collective, a group of London based promoters, DJ's and visual artists giving life to underground Bass music and contributing to the UK's Beat community at their “Future Vibe Tribe” and “Beat Meet” parties. With shows on Balamii Radio and his fingers in many musical pies, BusyFingers and his L.A.B Collective are definitely ones to look out for.
