AFRO NATION AT DRUMSHEDS 2025 REVIEW

Afro Nation at Drumsheds was a full on celebration of music, culture, and pure joy from start to finish. The moment you stepped inside, the entire venue felt alive. The crowd energy was unreal, the lights were bouncing across the room, and everyone arrived ready to dance and connect. The X Room became the superstar of the night with its massive industrial space, rumbling bass, and laser lights that turned the whole place into a beautiful storm of colour and sound. Sets from Shallipopi, Odumodublack, Sauti Sol, Juls, King Promise, Tyla, and Asake lit up the room in their own special way, with people shouting every lyric like they had been waiting for this exact moment.

The different rooms felt like different worlds, each one buzzing with its own personality. The Piano People space was pure magic. The crowd moved together in one giant wave, locked into the same groove. It felt warm, intentional, and full of unity. The 1way and Sika sets were absolutely electric, and TimDuzIt delivered the performance that became my favourite moment of the entire night. It was the kind of set that made time slow down because everyone was so locked in.

The whole event felt refreshing and exciting. The curated line up was strong from top to bottom, the Spotify Lounge with drink vouchers was a sweet surprise, and the crowd energy was some of the best I have seen in a long time. Even though the venue can get chilly and the journey home takes effort, those tiny things could not dim the experience at all. If anything, they made the night feel even bigger. Afro Nation at Drumsheds felt like a true celebration and I would one hundred percent recommend it to anyone who loves Afrobeat and vibrant energy.
