Bad Influence

North London rapper Clavish impresses on new song ‘Bad Influence’, an offering of his new EP ‘2022’. The North Londoner has, in the past, collaborated with giants in the industry like Nines on his latest project ‘Crabs In A Bucket’ and Fredo on ‘Independence Day’.

Listening to him rap, it’s not hard to figure out why there’s a sense in the air that Clavish is the next one up. The track is a mixture of playful football metaphors, a narrative about living in North London, and the attention from the girls and the constant bad influences he’s surrounded by. He also pays respect to the late Virgil with his Off-white bars. His voice sits atop the hypnotic beat, gliding over it beat with ease, giving me Fredo’s ‘They Aint 100’ vibes.

The music video dropped on GRM Daily a few days ago and already has 161K views and is currently trending 6th on YouTube as I write this review. Make no mistake, Clavish is one for now and for the future.
