Bryce
Bryce Andrew steps forward with his debut album Bryce, a reflective Hip Hop and Rap project from New York rapper Bryce Andrew. The release feels like a personal statement rather than just a collection of tracks, drawing deeply from his life journey, self discovery, and his drive to present an honest and evolving version of himself to the world.
Across the project, Bryce Andrew works with six producers and composers, building a sound shaped through YonxGanger with two contributions, alongside mightymousemusic, Kakurokunn, DarkTypeBeatss, seadogshanties, and p.a6486, each bringing their own distinct style sourced from their individual YouTube platforms. The result is a varied but focused sonic palette that keeps the album grounded in his vision.
A single feature arrives from longtime friend Raymond Gonzalez, known as HB Clipse, reconnecting after their earlier collaboration Lost My Way, and adding a personal touch on the album interlude. All recordings took place in Lagrangeville, New York with Eric Dalton behind the boards.
Raised on Boston Road near Baychester in the Bronx, across the bridge from Co op City, Bryce Andrew channels his environment and experiences into a project that marks a clear turning point. Even the title, drawn from his first and middle name, reflects identity and ownership, while the artwork built from items in his own closet highlights the many sides of who he is becoming.
