Channel Your Anger

South London singer, songwriter and composer Oscar Jerome is back with new single, Channel Your Anger taken from his forthcoming album, The Spoon due out 23rd September. Oscar’s charming blend of instrumentation sets a late-summer landscape seasoned with melodic vocals and sequences that create a virtuosic fusion. Oscar bares his full self on Channel Your Anger after presenting new persona’s, Ice Guycicle and Jerry on previous singles Sweet Isolation and Berlin 1. The 30-year-old’s performance at this month’s XJAZZ! festival is one of very few before his UK/EU tour kicks off which see him visit Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, Paris and Rotterdam as well as his London headline at Lafayette.

Speaking on the track, Oscar said:

“‘Channel Your Anger’ is about not letting your anger eat you up inside and instead channeling it towards something greater than yourself. The track features 2 virtuoso musicians I look up to a lot - Crispin ‘Spry’ Robinson on congas and Gareth Lockrane on flute. It’s a real honour to work with the greats of the generation before me.”
