City Splash 2025: A Vibrant Splash of Caribbean and African Culture in Brockwell Park

City Splash 2025 turned Brockwell Park into a lively celebration of Caribbean and African culture, drawing in over 30,000 festival fans for a day full of music, food, and community spirit. This popular reggae festival, with tickets priced at £64.50, delivered an authentic and vibrant experience with more than 60 artists performing across six stages and over 60 food stalls satisfying every craving.

The musical lineup was a rich mix of reggae, dancehall, Afrobeats, dub, jungle, garage, and amapiano, featuring artists like Valiant, HLC, The Composers, Teejay, Kybba, Channel One, and Nesta. Big names Popcaan, Tarrus Riley, and Spice brought extra heat, even though Popcaan’s late arrival sparked some chatter among fans. But the energy never dipped, keeping the crowd moving and grooving all day long.

Food lovers were spoiled for choice thanks to Black Eats LDN, who curated a delicious and authentic range of Caribbean and African dishes from over 60 vendors. Food and music came together to create a full sensory feast.

City Splash was more than just music and food. It was a community affair rooted in empowerment and culture, thanks to founder Ben Ryan. His vision was to create a festival by and for Black communities, and this shone through with workshops, panel talks, and the Rise Up programme supporting six emerging Caribbean artists. Local promoter Cecil Reuben also kept things real with a stage dedicated to South London talent, making sure the event stayed grounded and inclusive.

Families were welcomed with open arms, making it a true all-ages celebration. Sure, some folks mentioned the act timings felt tight and the VVIP queue was slow, but these small glitches didn’t stop City Splash from being a joyful, colorful highlight in London’s festival calendar.
