City Splash 2027!
City Splash is bringing serious heat to Brockwell Park on Bank Holiday Monday, 31 May 2027, with Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley leading a huge first wave. Celebrating Caribbean and African music and culture, the South London festival is assembling a lineup with plenty of reasons to get down early and stay moving.
Marley’s appearance is a major booking. The youngest son of Bob Marley has built his own formidable legacy, with his landmark album Welcome to Jamrock and collaborations with Nas and Jay Z taking his sound across generations. Hearing that unmistakable title track ring out across Brockwell Park has all the ingredients for a proper festival moment.
Joining the party, Dexta Daps brings his blend of dancehall, reggae and R&B, while Skillibeng promises plenty of firepower following his City Splash Drumsheds performance in 2025. Wayne Wonder supplies the singalong potential with “No Letting Go”, and Stefflon Don makes her festival debut, connecting British rap with her Caribbean influences. Roots reggae favourite Warrior King adds uplifting energy through a catalogue featuring “Virtuous Woman”.
The selectors deserve just as much attention. Wizkid’s official DJ, DJ Tunez, joins former Red Bull 3Style World Champion DJ Puffy, while Channel One, Rampage Sound, Saxon Sound and Dubwise Jamaica keep soundsystem culture firmly at the centre. Dankie Sounds, DJ Ace, Ras Kwame and Seani B add further weight to an already stacked announcement.
Spanning reggae, dancehall, soca, Afrobeats, jungle and UK funky, City Splash is shaping up as a celebration with generations of musical history behind it. With more names still to come, Brockwell Park already has a rather lively day ahead.
