Cold World

Shay D looks set to stake her claim to the masses following lethal new single ‘Cold World’. 

An inspiring figure in the community as well as a prolific spitter, Shay D has had a huge year so far, landing a resident show on Reprezent Radio, a BBC 1xtra drive time mix, and has collaborated with conglomerates like Nike and RedBull. She is currently a youth project manager at Breakin Convention, where she runs music projects and workshops targeting at-risk young people from different backgrounds, offering them motivation and guidance to stay on the right track. 

Musically, Shay D has illustrated her craft for a number of years now, having released two full length projects, ‘A Figure of Speech’ and ‘Human Writes’. She has unleashed various impressive singles, recently raising her game even higher with ‘Slice of the Pie’ featuring P Money, as well as ‘Best Shot’ with Lioness and Dibo. 

The new single, ‘Cold World’ is a gritty, attitude-laden banger, with Shay showing off her impressive flow and lyrical ability. The beat produced by Filthy Gears is striking, with old skool bass and drums combining with ominous synths and atmospheric vocals to create a misty, robust soundscape that Shay kills off with her razor-sharp delivery.
