Couldn’t Wait For It

“Settle if you wanna but I gotta be GOAT approved.” Taken straight from the hook of Blxst’s new single Couldn’t Wait For It, this line highlights exactly how Blxst manifested his current success.  Since the global success of his debut EP No Love Lost, Blxst has been taking no prisoners. He could’ve rested on his laurels and basked in the acclaim he received for the tape, but instead he  chose to engrave his legacy and ensure he continued on an upward trajectory.

Blxst has filled a space in hip-hop that fans had forgotten they needed. Infusing melody and vibes  with the unique sound that only production from L.A. can offer, Blxst has ears and eyes all on him as he drives the sound of the west-coast back to the forefront of hip-hop lovers music rotation  worldwide.

Blxst seems to relish this responsibility and sees it as an opportunity to establish himself in the  hip-hop hall of fame. As a result, a collaboration with Rick Ross feels like it was inevitable. Ross, an artist known for caviar rap, has almost transcended the rapper label and therefore, any music he attaches his name to is usually of the highest quality. Couldn’t Wait For It is no exception,  Florida and California serving Michelin star music.
