EatDaBreadKay steps into the spotlight with his debut single Shit Been Goin Down, bringing plenty of resilience, personality and street energy to the table. Hailing from Worcester, Massachusetts, Kay turns real life experiences into a phoenix rising from the ashes anthem about refusing to stay down when life turns up the heat.

The youngest of five children, Kay was raised by a single parent and discovered music at just 13, using writing and recording as an outlet for his emotions and experiences. His signature Street Melodies style blends trap, soul and melodic rap, giving the track a smooth but determined feel.

Influenced by artists including Nipsey Hussle, Chris Brown, 2Pac, Jay Z, Meek Mill, Fridayy and Tsu Surf, Kay brings together melody, street storytelling and ambition without losing his own identity.
