Kitty and I

Rising singer, songwriter and producer Chloe Bodur releases her new sensual single, ‘Kitty and I’ ahead of forthcoming EP RÜYA due 6th October. Stemming from a candid conversation about how women are treated in relationships, Chloe explores the topic of divine femininity - a running theme throughout her forthcoming project - as well as female pleasure. Chloe’s hypnotic vocals are accompanied by footage of her alongside her pet cat, Amelie, who joins her in the video which was shot entirely on Super 8 to match the 1930’s Cabaret-inspired styling. 

“I think women are incredible, god-like, mystical creatures and deserved to be adored as such. Inspired by one of my favourite Beyoncé’ songs “Kitty Kat” I wrote it almost as a manifesto for men, teaching them how to treat their girl right if they want regular access to kitty & I.  I switched the power from Beyoncé’s 00’s version and used humour which is really powerful to help get the point across in an entertaining way, and it keeps the mood light!”

At the start of this month, Chloe began her monthly residency for Balamii radio coinciding with her performance for their sold-out Ballroom event this Friday, headlined by Novelist.
