Two of Manchester’s brightest talents, Akemi Fox and July 7, team up to unveil a warm and vibrant escapade into radiant resonance with I Want It.

Akemi has been confidently accumulating an impressive portfolio of Alternative R&B gems, with her debut EP Colour You In being elegant and introspective in equal measure. Since then, she has worked with Children of Zeus on Balance, a standout track from their fantastic sophomore album, and more recently borrowed the production nuance of Swindle for her April release See You Soon.  

‘I Want It’ is a summer ready showcase of both artist’s talent. Lavish guitar cadence combines seamlessly with upbeat Afrobeat-infused production to create a colourful texture for Akemi’s subtle, sensual and striking vocal performance. July 7 elevates the vibe with a gently harmonious performance, adding to Akemi’s narrative and delving ever deeper into his R&B bag.
