Sore (Remix)

As drill music continues to spread on a global scale, The Ghanian scene is a place where its has been steadily growing over the past year. Rising rapper Yaw Tog has collaborated with fellow Ghanaian artist Kwesi Arthur and UK’s rap heavyweight Stormzy for the remix of his hit single ‘Sore’. The visuals directed by KooPoku Studios are shot in a similar style as the original track, showing the trio chilling with a bunch of locals in Ghana.

Commenting on the collaboration, Yaw Tog told DJ Mag:

“I didn’t even imagine I’d get someone like Stormzy on the remix. He’s a big one out there! What’s surprising is he came to my management, like ‘Yo, let’s get this done’. Wow. I think God is really working.”

Yaw Tog’s original ‘Sore’ version is the first Ghanaian drill track to pass the 1 million view count, currently standing at 2.4 million and climbing everyday. The remix will appear on his debut EP ‘TIME’, which is set to be released on March 25th .
