Born Edwin Lugo Walker, nephew of baseball icon Roberto Clemente, Lugo™ grew up singing in his father’s Bronx church before becoming an undefeated Apollo Theater champion and Broadway cast member of Paul Simon’s The Capeman. He has worked with Grammy winning producers Paul Simon, Bob Brockmann, and Rob Fusari, shaping music for Norman Brown and beyond.
