Mean Amount

We recently saw the release of BXKS’ latest anthem, ‘Mean Amount’. The spirited MC continues her fire streak after dropping her debut mixtape Full Time Daydreamer earlier this year. Now, driven by a desire to make a name and a paycheck, BXKS comes through with some real money talk.

This track proves that BXKS packs both bars and hooks. She rides the bass and flute with the flow of a pro, so it’s safe to say that she can’t be considered a newcomer anymore. Especially as she’s just stepped off stage from supporting ENNY.

BXKS is carving out her own lane in the world of UK rap, one she rides down while rapping out of a Range Rover’s sunroof in the visuals for ‘Mean Amount’. The video, (directed by none other than Eddie Cheaba), was shot in BXKS’ local area of Dunstable in order to reinforce the notion of escaping your past positioning. Off she goes to success and other great gains.

Fans will already know BXKS as an anime lover, and her outfits throughout the video, (as well as the track’s cover art), were inspired by characters from Katsuhiro Otomo’s Akira. After you’ve watched this, go check that out. You won’t regret either.

Rumours suggest the Luton lyricist has another full project planned for before the year is out. Stream ‘Mean Amount’ and join BXKS on her journey to glory.
