Mercedes to Hades

Kicking off the year strong, BINA. has collaborated with North London rapper Lex Amor for single ‘Mercedes to Hades’. Taken from her brand new EP ‘This Is Not a Film’, this gentle track shows their incredible talent as well as giving fans a taste of what they can expect from the EP.

‘Mercedes To Hades’ is sombre, emotion-tinged track that is filled with BINA.’s delicate vocals that sets her apart from her counterparts. Commenting on the single, BINA. explains:

“I was deeply involved in what you can call a situationship, and when I wrote Mercedes To Hades, it was inspired by a specific event that forced me to face a reality that I didn’t want to face.”

The visuals, directed by Sharlene Oda, provide a unique interpretation of the track, showing the pair in animated form cruising in the back of a Mercedes Benz, driven by a skeleton. Lexi Amor’s verse marries well with BINA.’s smooth voice and catchy hook, its dark undertones matching the aesthetic of the track.
