British MC and lyricist Drill Scott Heron (formally Hermz4k) drops his debut EP, Pressed On Life. Taking us on a fishbowl journey of modern day blues the EP is a thematic reflection of songs written during the global pandemic. Offering full transparency of the ups and downs of living in the 2010's, his monologues are relatable to most of us in our mid-20's under a constant whirlwide of unpredictability, excitement and uncertainty. 

His distinctively deep, gravelly tones perfectly pair with his intimate content to curate his own illisuive sonic. DSH's support across the project comes from Puerto Rican-Congelese producer IBN Itaka, bringing Blues, Soul, R&B and Motown influences. Standout track So Simple raises the fundamental questions: what if life could be simpler?, Do I need more or can I be content with what I have? And what's good or better when this is all I know? to further cement his reputation of having a slick-yet-introspective penship. The eerie production - from Italian producer Boyjane - is a prime example of his evolving soundscape that is destined to set himself up for your One's to Watch list for 2023 and beyond.
