Stern Stakes brings South London grit, confidence and classic hip hop flavour to ‘Poker Face’, a sharp rap cut packed with self belief and plenty of bars. Produced by XnDR and engineered by Big Glo, the track gets an extra dose of authenticity from crisp DJ scratches, giving Stakes’ delivery a raw, old school feel.

The Woolwich raised rapper of Nigerian heritage has been making music since 2018, drawing inspiration from UK and US heavyweights including Giggs, Chip, Dave, J Hus, Knucks, Nas, Jadakiss and JAY Z. Stakes keeps that influence firmly rooted in his own story, turning doubt, struggle and ambition into fuel.

With ‘Galactic’ surpassing 5,000 Spotify streams and his catalogue passing 20,000 streams, Stakes is steadily building momentum.
