The March

On The March, D Power Diesle, Frisco, Shorty and Lay-Z bring back nostalgia and transports us back to the early 2000s with a gritty grime beat produced by The HeavyTrackerz, which is reinforced with the sound of scratching vinyl.

The Grime scene pioneer teases his long awaited follow up project Graphene 2, he plans to keep the same high calibre that he delivered in the first project. With Graphene 1’s stand out single Sniper, featuring Skepta, amassing over 5.2 million collective views as well tracks with guest verses from Wiley, Footsie, Jammz and Grim Sickers, the talented grime MC refuses to miss his shot!

Reminiscent of old school clashes, D Power Diesle aggressively spits the first verse setting the tone for the rest to match on a sinister, vibrant instrumental which is filled to the brim with bouncing percussion and intricate production work

He is one of the pioneers of grime and it shows on his new track that he is still relevant to the ever developing scene. Frisco’s verse is ice cold, as he raps about topics range from black empowerment to moving gully on the road.

The beat breathes before Shorty comes in, continuing the thread by using intelligent wordplay that shouts out Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King as an inspiration of the rapper. Lay-Z finishes the track with hard hitting bars that would incite a riot.
