Track of the Week: Everywhere I'll Ever Be

Stark, grandiose and tranquillising, London-based singer songwriter ELIZA’s Everywhere I’ll Ever Be lingers in lucidity, engrossing its listener in atmosphere and texture. 

Plucking the ripest and fruits from an eclectic tree of influence, Everywhere I’ll Ever Be cannot be defined stylistically - only for its mood. Reminiscent of Lianne La Havas, the track is delicate yet brooding, vast yet dense. Boldly clocking in a run time of over six minutes, ELIZA transmits her deepest emotion through a sensual and striking vocal performance, spellbinding subtly amidst groove-laden bass, gentle guitar cadence and snappy drums. The absorbing sonic palette is mirrored by the lyrical themes, as ELIZA uses the oppressive nature of light pollution to portray being engulfed in an age of misinformation and overawing consumerism.   

The mesmerising new single comes alongside the news that the singer will be releasing her sophomore studio album A Sky Without Stars on Friday 16th September via LOG OFF / Different Recordings.
