Where Soul Meets Streets: Jazz Cafe Festival 2025

Jazz Cafe Festival is back at Burgess Park and it’s sounding like the summer’s ultimate day out. Following the sold-out debut last year, the team behind one of London’s most iconic venues is taking things up a gear. Headlining the 2025 edition is Masego, the genre-bending multi instrumentalist who has carved a lane somewhere between jazz, RnB, and trap soul. Expect sax solos, slick vocals and serious swagger. Also topping the bill is Griselda boss Westside Gunn, making his long awaited UK stage debut, backed by fellow wordsmith Benny the Butcher. That alone is worth the ticket price.

But the lineup doesn’t stop there. Elmiene brings honey soaked vocals and velvet heartbreak, Nectar Woode delivers soul healing melodies, and Colombian funk trio Balthvs are guaranteed to raise the energy. Amy Gadiaga, Don West, and Zino Vinci keep the vibe high with their fresh live sets, while Raf Saperra brings Punjabi swagger to the mic.

The Plant Room will be your go to for gritty hip hop and deep cuts, with appearances from Lex Amor, Lexa Gates, Skiifall and James Massiah. Over at Four Corners, expect global heat: Nooriyah blends sounds from across the diaspora, Juls brings smooth Afrobeats, and Young Franco and Guts will have the crowd dancing nonstop.

The Dome stage leans experimental, with Nabihah Iqbal, Malix, and Aroop Roy spinning boundary pushing DJ sets. Add in selectors like IZCO and the live vibes of Brighter Days Live, and you’ve got a full spectrum of sound.

Running from 12pm to 10pm, this multi genre celebration captures the essence of Jazz Cafe’s 35 year legacy and turns Burgess Park into a sonic playground. London, consider your August soundtrack sorted. Tickets are moving fast. You know what to do.
