Little Simz exceeds expectations once again with her incredible new single ‘Woman’, the uplifting anthem with a self-directed music video. 

After releasing one of the UK’s best Hip Hop albums of the last decade, Grey Area, in 2019, Little Simz finally returned last month with the exceptional first single off her upcoming record, ‘Sometimes I Might Be Introvert’. With the LP’s second single now out, it is shaping up to be one of the years most anticipated releases. 

Over vibrant, lavish production that wouldn’t be out of place on an Eyrkah Badhu record, Simz raps ‘woman to woman I just wanna see you glow’, spreading her positive message in a time where many may need hope. 

The track is produced by versatile composer Inflo, who has previously worked with the likes of Michael Kiwanuka, and Danger Mouse. The single also comes equipped with a guest feature from upcoming singer Cleo Sol, who compliments the jazzy production perfectly.  

In a statement for the new release, Simz said:

“I love it when I see women doing their thing and looking flawless; I’m here for that; it’s empowering, it’s inspiring; I wanted to say thank you and I wanted to celebrate them”
