1 2 WATCH: Key4Life

On ‘Let It Go’, Key4Life radiate an incredible vitality; a quality that is rare in modern music. A nine piece alternative hip hop collective comprising of ex-offenders and young men at risk of going to prison, these guys feel like they have a different aptitude for artistry. The passion and talent is clear to see throughout each member of the group, with strong vocal performances and vivid, introspective lyricism.

Having already collaborated with one of UK alternative’s biggest talents Jevon on their debut release ‘Know How It Goes’, the group have turned to another stalwart of the scene in Fred again.., the electronic producer whose joint tape with Headie One is one of the most overlooked and sonically progressive EP’s in UK raps recent history.    

Fred blesses the boys with an emotionally potent and striking instrumental, perfect for the group to spit their truths over. Each member offers a unique, technically proficient and deeply personal addition to the track, as we get to know each member a little better thanks to their honest narration.
