Change
Manchester’s deed0t takes a look inward on “Change”, putting personal growth under the microscope. Released via Warner Music, the single explores identity, self acceptance and the uncomfortable business of leaving certain people and places behind. Growing pains clearly do not come with an instruction manual.
His direct approach to UK rap gives these themes their bite, with candid lyricism making room for emotional vulnerability. There is something compelling about an artist building momentum while questioning what needs to change around him. Here, ambition shares space with the personal cost of moving forward.
And that momentum has receipts. Breakout track “Won’t Stop Callin’” has surpassed 4 million streams, reaching number 26 on the UK Official Singles Sales Chart and number 24 on the Official Singles Downloads Chart. His Manchester connections remain strong, too, joining Suggz and Zeddy East on “Been Around”.
Having supported Aitch at his Warehouse Project homecoming show and performed at Clints Fest alongside The Streets, K-Trap and Chip, deed0t already has some impressive stages behind him. “Change” brings the focus back to the person navigating that progress, giving his growing story a more personal chapter.
