If I Have To

Brummy legend K2 has money on his mind and cheek to spare on new road anthem “If I Have To”!

His confidence comes with experience. K2 has sold out a hometown headline show at Birmingham’s O2 Institute and opened for Jaykae, Mist, AJ Tracey, Sneakbo, Paigey Cakey, Smoke Boyz, Burna Boy + more. The Birmingham rapper, also known as Brummy Boy, turns tattoo bills, flashy motors and jewellery shopping into a colourful display of ambition.

“If I Have To” keeps that hustler mentality front and centre. The subject matter is familiar, but the humour in his comparisons adds character to the flexing. Between the expensive accessories and restless phone, K2 paints a life where the money keeps calling and he intends to pick up.

K2 wants peace and financial freedom, but his lyrics suggest he remains prepared for trouble. That contradiction gives the repeated hook something more interesting than a straightforward money mantra.
