Diamonds Dancing

Grime scene saviours Novelist and Skepta link up for ‘Diamonds Dancing’.

Here, that shared grime grounding makes the extravagant imagery feel rooted in something recognisable. The repeated refrain might dominate proceedings, but the appeal lies in how readily it invites everyone into the celebration!

Built around an insistently repeated diamond hook, their collaboration pairs luxury flexes with memories of grafting when the bank balance looked considerably less exciting. Football nods to Haaland and Jude Bellingham sit alongside Brockley references, keeping the ambition global and the character unmistakably London.

Skepta brings serious pedigree, with 16Million+ monthly Spotify listeners and a collaborative history spanning A$AP Rocky, Drake, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, J Hus, D Block Europe, fakemink & others; his musical contact list could comfortably host its own festival AND HAS. He has also had his fair share of online platform support as seen with his electrifying Colors performance. Novelist arrives with his own heavyweight connections, having worked with Smallgod, Big Narstie, Jme, D Double E & others and appeared on Link Up TV, GRM Daily & more.
