EA SPORTS FC 27 SOUNDTRACK

EA SPORTS FC 27 is getting ready to kick off the new football season with a soundtrack that looks set to make the journey from menu screens to matchday memories. Bringing together 120 tracks from 36 nations, the latest EA SPORTS soundtrack once again proves that football and music speak the same universal language.

Among the big names joining the party are Jim Legacy, Little Simz and Kendrick Lamar, giving the soundtrack plenty of UK flavour, hip hop energy and global star power. Jim Legacy’s “idk idk” adds another exciting voice to the mix, while Little Simz brings her distinctive alternative hip hop sound. Kendrick Lamar needs little introduction, with his inclusion adding another major name to a playlist already packed with heavy hitters.

There is plenty more to get excited about, with Interpol, The Neighbourhood, The Strokes, The War on Drugs, Royal Blood, Nia Archives, Chase & Status and Barry Can’t Swim all featuring. The soundtrack also shines a spotlight on emerging talent including The Itch, Sycco, Bruvvy, Temper City, bed and Rose Gray, making sure the playlist is not simply a collection of familiar names.

Then there are the surprises. Fans can discover unreleased music from Cage The Elephant and Mura Masa, alongside Sayf’s “TOP OF THE POPS (Red Bull 64 Bars)”. It is the kind of selection that could have you forgetting about the match entirely while searching for the song you just heard.

Music also gets an even bigger role in FC 27 through The Grounds, where players can explore Parkside, Montclair and Zeiza, three districts inspired by English, French and Argentinian football culture, each with its own musical identity.

With more than 20 years of soundtrack history behind it, EA SPORTS FC 27 has plenty to live up to. If this playlist is anything to go by, the new football season is arriving with the volume turned all the way up.
