Got To Be Me

It’s been a long while since Nige’s last solo release, but the North West London producer/MC returns with the glowing ‘Got to Be Me’.

Driven by guitars and a peppy drum loop, Nige aka Sukha delivers an uplifting message on the importance of self-appreciation and loving the life you live.

“I’ve got to be good, like everyone should / But most of all, I’ve got to be me”

This tune is bliss and that comes as no surprise given Nige’s position amongst the trendsetting NiNE8 Collective. A comrade from the crew, namely Mac Wetha, also holds down the track’s mixing duties.

Close friendships make the best collaborations. Hence why no actors feature in the visuals for ‘Got to Be Me’, just Nige’s mates whirling around Kentish Town, lip-syncing en route to the studio. Shouts to no-ID in the director’s chair.

If this is the result of Nige being Nige then let’s hope it’s the start of a series of solo releases all showing off what he does best.
