Saba: Live in London

Bringing a slice of the Chi to London, Saba shined as he graced the stage of the O2 Forum for the London stint of his ‘BACK HOME’ Tour’, hitting greater Europe, the UK, and South Africa. Immersing the crowd in his silky vibe, wiz-like flow, and natural confidence the artist put on a firm show with supporting sets from London’s ENNY, and soulful guest and collaborator Giadaa.

Gifting his loyal audience with a blast of signatures from his recent album ‘Few Good Things’ to his prominent track ‘Photosynthesis’ the rapper bought on a balanced set, as he navigated his imposingly nuanced archive. Opening the show with ‘One way’ the artist didn’t miss a beat from the offset, pitching in tracks like ‘BROKEN GIRLS’, ‘Ziplock’, as well as fresh fan faves like ‘Survivors Guilt’ and ‘2012’.

Challenging his audience to join in, the crowd boasted his lyrics loudly as the rapper set the tone for a sweeping show. Taking moments to embrace the crowd and acknowledge the reach of the music, the artist felt sincerely dazzled as his international audience matched his energy with every song.

His backstreet style and the blissful fusion of his homegrown sound and rooted influence crescendoed with the evening's performance, offering a free-flowing show dawning his infectious tunes. With mention to the band, the rapper had skillful support from his backing team; featuring friends, family and collaborators alike dating his childhood - to help champion his flow and surprisingly assured live vocals, all together mastering the performance.

With the remainder of the tour still to come, expect to see the Chicago native and ‘BACK HOME’ Tour head to Europe and South Africa next in his quest to share his ever-personal sound and verve.
